DESCRIPTION: Life is about taking risks. From a first day on the job, to a first date, to speaking in front of a group, to organizing events, to navigating change – there’s no avoiding the everyday challenges of taking risks. We LOVE it when risks go as planned. We HATE it when they don’t. Being an exceptional leader means having the emotional stamina to endure adversity, help others to navigate risks, and move forward with confidence and clarity. This takes grit, resilience, and training.
Harlan Cohen takes over 20 years of expertise and teaches participants how to turn adversity into success in their personal, professional, and leadership lives. Harlan shares a five-step approach that offers a framework to navigate the risks that come with being a leader. Attendees will participate in a series of exercises that transform fear into freedom and turn obstacles into a springboard to future success. He uses his trademark humor, audience interaction, and personal journey to challenge attendees to step outside their comfort zone and grow as individuals and leaders.
